Hyguardian

A Cyber-Fantasy Epic · Davence Young

120,000 years ago, the Atilans sent their greatest warriors to Earth — not to conquer, but to survive. Their descendants have lived among us ever since, unaware of what sleeps in their blood.

Dr. Ashé Dravon is about to remember everything.

Welcome to the reclamation.
Part of the B.E.A.R.S. Universe · Every legend has an awakening
Dormant for 120,000 years
It has been waiting
for exactly this moment.

The oldest truth
on Earth has a name.

In 2120 Neo-Mexico City, Dr. Ashé Dravon is a crypto-archaeologist — brilliant, obsessive, and systematically dismissed by every institution he has ever trusted. He has spent his career tracing connections between ancient civilizations that mainstream science insists cannot exist.

He is right. They all know he is right. That is exactly why they are trying to stop him.

Beneath the Bermuda Triangle, a vessel grown from living crystal has been dormant for 120,000 years. It is not a machine. It is not a relic. It is alive — and it has been broadcasting a signal tuned to a single genetic frequency.

Ashé Dravon's.

120,000 years ago, the Atilans sent their greatest warriors to Earth — not to conquer, but to survive. Their descendants have lived among us ever since, unaware of what sleeps in their blood.

One story.
A universe of consequence.

The B.E.A.R.S. universe is not a single story. It is a civilization — 120,000 years of mythology, conflict, sacrifice, and survival compressed into a transmedia world built to last a generation.

It begins with one man remembering who he is. It ends with an entire people reclaiming what was taken from them.

Hyguardian is the origin. B.E.A.R.S.: The Awakening is the ignition. Everything after is the fire.

Built by creator Davence Young over sixteen years, the B.E.A.R.S. universe spans multiple formats — each one expanding a world with roots older than human civilization itself.

"The oldest story on Earth was always ours.
Welcome to the reclamation."

I've always been an artist at heart — always have been, always will be. It began at age five when a screening of Steamboat Willie sparked something that never went out. I turned to my mother and said simply — "That's what I want to do."

That moment launched a decades-long journey through traditional drawing, graphic design, poetry, woodworking, digital illustration, costume fabrication, and prop building. A graduate of the Arts and Design school, I spent thirty years as a visual artist and worldbuilder — including years as a Dungeon Master crafting immersive universes and designing a tabletop RPG of my own.

Fourteen years ago I began writing screenplays. Sixteen years ago I began building the universe that would become B.E.A.R.S.: The Awakening — a high-concept military sci-fi epic produced through Dragonesque Studios LLC in co-production with Moskitos Films and director Darryl D. Johnson.

Hyguardian is the first novel set in the B.E.A.R.S. universe. It is the story of Dr. Ashé Dravon — a Black American crypto-archaeologist in Neo-Mexico City 2120 — and the ancient cosmic truth sleeping in his blood. It is the beginning of a universe I have spent sixteen years building because it didn't exist anywhere else.
